As I reflect on my experience with this fourth
grading period, I realize that I am reflecting on a journey...my personal
journey into the world of digital technology. Like any journey, some of the
most memorable experiences come from side trips; on these we are often
confronted with places and experiences that take us out of our comfort zones,
changing us forever. Here is where we often meet new strangers who often become
lifelong friends. Completion of this course and its companion class, Adobe
Photoshop, provide me the opportunity to reflect, via this essay, on such a
side trip as I began navigating the coursework and activities in the amazing land
of photo editing. In these courses we were presented with the opportunity to
design the interface of a photo for an activity, and to consider how our design
decisions might impact the user’s experience when interacting with the application.
In this essay I focus on two elements. First, I reflect on specific course
learning goals and objectives, and how I achieved this through the course
readings and projects. Second, I discuss my learning experience by reflecting
on my unique skills, abilities and challenges. I also reflect on what this
experience has taught me about my fellow students, photo editing application,
and myself.
Thank
You ma’am for teaching us on how to use these kind of photo editing
application. I hope you will be teaching other students how to use these
application. It’s a lot of fun using these application.
